  1. Cute. Keep em' coming. Have you been submitting your stuff all over the place?

  2. Thanks Brandon. I haven't really been sending anything. I don't know who to send it to. I did send some stuff to american greetings but they never responded. I'm going to try again this spring.

  3. Take an evening to go to a Hallmark, and look on the backs of the cards for companies/websites to check out. I'm sure if you dig around on any official site you'll find where to submit art to. It's a whole lot easier to submit via email than to pay to print and mail off a bunch of postcards. But moo.com and psprint.com are some very solid affordable print places to check with if you need biz cards or postcards.

Also, go to the library. Look over the magazine racks and pick out 10 magazines (for any age) that you think your work would fit into/that you want to work for. Look inside them for the submission & editor information—those could be some good places to start. And (thanks for reading my rant), you should make a goal of submitting, say, to three companies a day (with follow-up inquiries after any submission a week or two after that).

Perhaps that could help. I'm sure you'll do great. It's just a matter of pounding the pavement enough to get something shakin'.
